PalletTrader, an e-commerce marketplace for buying and selling pallets, has launched with the goal of streamlining the process and giving pallets the recognition they deserve. Pallets play a crucial role in the supply chain, allowing for the efficient stacking and transportation of goods. However, they are often discarded or under appreciated.

PalletTrader aims to change that by providing an easy-to-use platform similar to shopping on Amazon. The marketplace connects pallet sellers and buyers, facilitating local transactions as pallets are typically sourced and delivered within a 50-mile radius.

PalletTrader is the brainchild of John Vaccaro, the president of Bettaway Supply Chain Services, a company that created one of the few national pallet exchange programs in 1995. The launch of PalletTrader signifies a shift towards a more organized and accessible secondary market for pallets.
